10. Giovanna Di Giglia, 19 (b. 1916), single, housewife, leaves sister as above, joining father as above, stands 5’1”
They all were born and last resided in Corleone, sailing on visas issued in Naples on 30 August 1935.[1]
Giovanna Di Giglio, residing at 247 E. 116th St., NY, born 26 December 1915, issued a certificate on 24 January 1949 in the US District Court at NYC.[2] Giovanna's sister, Lucy, is naturalized on the same day.
Two days later, Lucy marries Leoluca Bellomo. Giovanna marries Leoluca's brother, Salvatore, that May.
Salvatore Bellomo and Geovanna Di Giglio marry in Manhattan on 4 May 1949.[3]
Salvatore is a reputed soldier in the Genovese crime family in New York City.
Salvatore and Giovanna have at least one child, Liborio Salvatore (1957).
Liborio Salvatore is born 8 January 1957[4] in Corleone. He is active in New York's Genovese Family beginning in the 1980s.[5]
Salvatore dies at age 65 in January 1980. He last resided in the Bronx, 10465.[6]
Liborio, called Barney, is active in the Genovese crime family from the 1980s. He is the current boss of the Family.
